It’s no exaggeration to say that one of the greatest assets in the rapidly growing industrial-logistics sector is time. Commissioned by VGP, we had the opportunity to work on yet another expansion project — this time involving the extension of one of the logistics halls in Budapest – and under no ordinary conditions.

True professional success is not always spectacular. Often, it is born quietly, through background work, precise detailing, perseverance, and professional dedication. But there are moments when all of this comes to the surface – when a roof, a surface, or the use of materials becomes functional, aesthetic, and recognized all at once.

In today’s agricultural developments, precise technical execution is just as important as cost-efficiency and streamlined project delivery. The dairy farm expansion project launched by KMG AGRO Kft. aimed to create a modern livestock facility capable of meeting long-term production demands. The Lajta | Szig team was responsible for the fabrication of the steel structure, as well as the roofing and sheet metal work, ensuring a robust and durable construction tailored to the operational requirements of contemporary animal husbandry.

When developing a well-functioning service center, the goal is not just to expand the premises, but also to broaden the scope of services and ensure more efficient operations. At the Lébény site of Scania Real Estate Hungária Kft., Lajta | Szig acted as the general contractor in a project that involved not only new building extensions, but also an expanded parking lot and a modernized exit.

Lajta | Szig played a major role in the construction of the new building of the Museum of Ethnography, particularly in the implementation of the roof structure and waterproofing systems. The museum's new home was built in Budapest, at Ötvenhatosok Square on the edge of City Park (Városliget), as part of the Liget Budapest Project. This is the first building in the museum’s history to be specifically designed according to the institution’s requirements, and it opened to the public on May 23, 2022.
