You provide your personal data voluntarily during registration or when contacting our Company. Therefore, please ensure that the information you provide is accurate, correct, and up to date, as you are responsible for its validity. Inaccurate, incorrect, or incomplete data may hinder the use of our services.

Where necessary, we may retain such data for the duration of any civil liability proceedings or criminal procedures.

5. Other Questions Regarding Data Processing

Your data is only transferred within the limits set by law, and in the case of our data processors, we contractually ensure that your personal data cannot be used for purposes contrary to your consent. Further information can be found in Section 2.

Our Company does not transfer data abroad.

Courts, public prosecutors, and other authorities (e.g. police, tax authority, National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information) may contact our Company to request information, disclose data, or provide documents. In such cases, we are required to fulfill our obligation to provide data only to the extent strictly necessary to achieve the purpose of the request.

Participants and employees involved in our Company’s data processing and/or data controlling activities are authorized to access your personal data only to a predefined extent, and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

We protect your personal data with appropriate technical and other measures and ensure the security and availability of the data. We also safeguard your data against unauthorized access, alteration, damage, disclosure, and any other unlawful use.

As part of our organizational measures, we control physical access to our buildings, continuously train our employees, and securely store paper-based documents. As part of our technical measures, we use encryption, password protection, and antivirus software.

Please note, however, that data transmission over the internet cannot be considered completely secure. Upon your request, we will provide information regarding the personal data we process or that are processed by our designated data processor, including:

  • your personal data,
  • the source of those data,
  • the purpose and legal basis of the data processing,
  • the duration of data processing, or if this is not possible, the criteria for determining such duration,
  • the name and address of our data processors and the nature of their data processing activities,
  • the circumstances and effects of any data protection incidents, as well as the measures taken to prevent and remedy such incidents, and
  • in case of data transfers involving your personal data, the legal basis and the recipients of such transfers.

We will provide the requested information within the shortest possible time following the submission of your request, within 20 days (but no later than within 1 month). This information is provided free of charge, unless you have already submitted a request regarding the same set of data during the current calendar year. If the data were processed unlawfully or if your request for information resulted in a correction, we will refund any fee you may have paid.

We may only refuse to provide information in cases specified by law, in which case we will indicate the legal provision on which the refusal is based and inform you of your options for judicial remedy or filing a complaint with the Authority.

Our company shall notify you as well as all recipients to whom the data were previously disclosed for processing purposes about any correction, blocking, marking, or deletion of personal data, unless the failure to notify them does not infringe your legitimate interest.

If you object to the processing of your personal data, we will review the objection within the shortest possible time from the date of receipt of the request, within 20 days (but no later than within 1 month), and inform you of our decision in writing. If we determine that your objection is well-founded, we will terminate the data processing — including any further data collection and data transfer — and block the data. Furthermore, we will notify all recipients to whom the personal data affected by the objection had previously been transferred and who are obliged to take measures to enforce the right to object.

We will only refuse to comply with the request if we can prove that the data processing is justified by compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or that relate to the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

If you disagree with our decision, or if we fail to meet the deadline, you may file a claim with a court within 30 days from the date of notification of our decision or from the last day of the deadline.

Data protection lawsuits fall under the jurisdiction of the regional court; the lawsuit — at the data subject's discretion — may also be initiated before the regional court of the data subject's place of residence or habitual residence. A foreign citizen may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority competent according to their place of residence.

We kindly ask you to contact our Company first with your complaint — prior to turning to the supervisory authority or to the court — in order to facilitate discussion and the prompt resolution of the issue raised.
